Process for Change/ Update Address and Other Details
- This application form must be completed to be the initial applicant. Attach the proof of such changes in address or other details.

If the applicants don't have proof of change of address, the applicant can sign the forms to the following individuals
- Gazetted Officer - Group A
- Village Panchayat Head, or Mukhiya
- Gazetted Officer - Group B
- MP/ MLA/ MLC/ Muncipal Councilor
- Tehsildar
- Head of Recognized Education Institution
- Superintendent/ Warden/ Matron/ Head Institution
- Recognized shelter houses/Orphanages
- Officer EPFO
- In the meantime, you need to go to the nearest Aadhaar Center along with this form you may apply for the change of address, and you may also apply online for such Address change in Aadhaar Number using this address change link
UIDAI permits users of Aadhaar cardsto change their address without needing documents. Aadhaar cardholders have the right to change their address, even if they had not presented an identity proof.
New Delhi: The Unique Identification Authority of India has temporarily halted a vital facility which permits you to alter the address of your Aadhaar card's address with no documentary proof of address.
UIDAI permits those who have Aadhaar cards to change their address and address without any paperwork. Aadhaar card holders are able to update their address, if they are willing to accept the authentication that the address verifyer. An address verifier can be a family member, friend, landlord or family member that will allow the Aadhaar card holder to verify their address.
UIDAI has stopped this feature. UIDAI provided a response to an Card card holder via Twitter by announcing that the ability to update the address on the Aadhaar Card via Address Validation Letter was canceled. UIDAI has requested for the Aadhaar issuer to notify the user of the possibility to update their address by using another legitimate PoA document.

UIDAI gives the following document among the POA documents (Proof Of Address) documents that include the name and address for Aadhaar cards
Passport
Statement/Passbook for Post Office Accounts
Driving licence
Water Bill (not older that 3 months)
Telephone Landline Bill (not older than 3 months)
A Credit Card statement (not over 3 months).).
The letter is signed and includes a picture of the registered company on letterhead
Pensioner Card
Freedom Fighter Card
Kissan Passbook
Passport of Spouse
Parents' passports (in instances of minors)
Central/ State Govt. issued an allotment notice for accommodation. (Not more than 3 years)
Bhamashah Card/Jan Aadhaar card issued Governmentt. Rajasthan
Certificate issued by the Superintendentor WardenMatron/ Head Of Institution of a recognized shelter, orphanages etc. on UIDAI standard certificate format for enrolment/ update
